Reinventing The Tattoo Forum

Hi Guy,

I've recently attempted to tattoo the centre of the palm of a friend. After the tattoo healed, 50% of the ink dropped out. I touched up the area and after the tattoo still dropped out to the same result. I used inkjecta rotatry machine on 11 vols with a 9 power liner. I tried to go deep, I have the needle hanging out about 4mm, but for some reason the skin is still not taking the ink. I would like to get some advise on palm tattoos. I feel like its got to do with the machine set up. would a coil machine be better for this area of the body where the skin is thick and tougher? I use Talens indian black ink. I found the ink is quite thick and I thought perhaps thats why it doesnt go in properly. help!!!
